Emerson Construction Company, Inc. has an extensive safety program, which is implemented on every project. The program was created in coordination with Construction Safety & Health, Inc. and includes all aspects of construction safety. Furthermore, Emerson has partnered with the AGC for weekly toolbox safety topics and continuing safety education programs. Construction Safety & Health, Inc. also provides unannounced simulated OSHA inspections to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained on every project.
We believe that safety issues can be addressed very early in design development and implemented throughout the project. To ensure that the highest standards for Emerson and the subcontracting community are upheld, Emerson Construction takes a proactive approach to preventing accidents and will further ensure this philosophy by requiring an acceptable safety programs from each subcontractor, which has been a proven approach with Emerson Construction in obtaining an EMR of 0.57.
